Warranty
Alternative Fuel Systems, Inc. warrants its products against
defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days. Defective
merchandise will be replaced without charge but labor charges incurred
in the removal, disassembly, or reinstallation of such products will not
be allowed. No merchandise may be returned without written permission
from the factory. Transportation charges must be prepaid. The factory
shall be the sole judge of defects in products return. A 25% handling
charge will be made for all merchandise returned that is not defective.
All prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to
limit quantities and to make partial shipments unless specifically
instructed otherwise. The obligation of the company under this warrant
is limited to replacing any complete units or parts thereof which by our
examination we judge to be defective. |
Alternative Fuel Systems, Inc. return procedure.
- Acquire return authorization number from AFS for the item believed to
be defective, or incorrect. You may submit the following form, or call
847-437-2345.
- Package the item or items, marking the outside of the carton with the
RMA number provided by AFS. Make a note on the outside of the carton to the
attention of the AFS representative that provided the RMA. The item should
be returned complete as it was shipped to you.
- When AFS receives the returned material, it will be inspected and
tested to determine if it is defective. If a defect is found, a replacement
will be provided.
- If the material believed to be defective is found to be functional,
no replacement will be provided. If you would like any material to be
returned to you, please advise AFS within 30 days. You will be charged for
the return shipping charges. After 30 days the material will be scrapped.
- Any material that is returned due to errors in ordering may be
subject to a 25% restocking charge.
