CARBURETOR REPAIR PARTS

If your carburetor is causing problems  but the casting is good, repair instead of replacing for a fraction of the cost. Replacement air valves, throttle shafts, levers, adapters, and throttle bodies for most carburetors are available.

AIR VALVE DIAPHRAGMS

 Diaphragms are a normal wear item in an LPG carburetor. They should  periodically inspected for accumulation of dirt and contaminants. They should be replaced if excessively dirty. An accumulation of heavy oils from impurities in propane can severely damage diaphragms. These oils can weaken the integrity of the diaphragm and cause perforations. Silicone diaphragms have better resistance to this type of damage. Silicone is also a lighter material which can improve the response time of the valve. If the castings of the carburetor and throttle body are not damaged, valve replacement is a much more cost effective repair than carburetor replacement.
